Milling
What we do:
We specialize in chainsaw and bandsaw milling allowing us to utilize the most from our clients’ materials.
The process:
First the trees are cut into slabs, then are stacked with their edges sealed. They are left to air-dry for at least one year before going into the kiln. Depending on species of wood, they are kiln-dried for about two months. The moisture content is then checked to assure that the product is ready to move into the slab ready room and be used in custom furniture pieces.
